What is Asia Media TV

Asia Media is the market leader in the out-of-home digital media and advertising industry. The company operates the largest Transit-TV network in Malaysia (Certified by Malaysian Book of Records). TransNet® is the company’s flagship channel that uses LCD-TV screens to display infotainment programs, advertisements, community-driven messages and public service bulletins in public transportation. With daily viewership exceeding 500,000 viewers, TransNet® Channel remains one of the most effective mediums in reaching out to the mass audience.

Asia Media’s products and services consist of four primary divisions: – TransNet® KL, TransNet® JB, TransNet® Ex and a Creative Department. Collectively, TransNet® operates a network of 3000 Transit-TVs through the company’s exclusive network partners: – RapidKL, Handal Indah, Plusliner, Konsortium Bas Ekspres Semenanjung and Triton Express.

TransNet® KL – Consists of more than 2,000 Transit-TV networks in an exclusive partnership with RapidKL, the government-owned public transport integrated company with more than 1,000 city buses in operation within Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. TransNet® KL Channel reaches out to about 400,000 viewers on a daily basis.

TransNet® JB – Consists of more than 500 Transit-TV network in an exclusive partnership with Handal Indah Sdn Bhd (Causeway Link buses), with about 200 city buses in operation within Johor Metropolitan in addition to serving the Johor Bahru – Singapore causeway link. TransNet® JB Channel reaches about 100,000 viewers on a daily basis.

TransNet® EX – Consists of more than 600 Transit-TV network in an exclusive partnership with Plusliner, Konsortium Bas Semenanjung Malaysia (KBES) and Triton Express, with about 200 express luxury coaches in operation within the West coast of Malaysia. TransNet® EX Channel reaches about 100,000 viewers on a monthly basis. Contents and movies are supplied for in-coach entertainment and Movie-on-Demand is the core business of TransNet® Ex division.

Asia Media’s Creative Department is a ‘one stop centre’ that caters for all advertising and marketing needs. Services provided include conceptualization, design, pre and post-production.
